Inspired by Clear Mountain Monastery’s Sunday Sutta Study, we’re reading the Middle Length Discourses of the Buddha with their 10-Minute Majjhima videos. One sutta a week, a short teaching, and a conversation about what it means in our own lives.
Thursday evenings
7–7:30 p.m. · Sutta study / book club
Read the week’s sutta if you can. We’ll watch the video together, then talk about what stood out, what puzzled us, and what we might put into practice.
7:30–8 p.m. · Sangha social
Join us for a chat, with or without the book club.
If no one else shows up, enjoy a little quiet time with your one-person sangha.

We’re reading all 152 suttas over about three years. Come when you can: each week has its own reading, with no catching up required. No prior experience needed.
Read for free, or bring a book
Every reading is free on SuttaCentral. For a paper copy, we use The Middle Length Discourses of the Buddha, translated by Bhikkhu Ñāṇamoli and Bhikkhu Bodhi, from Wisdom Publications.
The 10-Minute Majjhima videos are free too. We’ll watch together, so there’s no need to watch ahead.
Reading schedule
